`Lacey` descends from Jumping royalty and she has the talent, scope and work ethic needed to be a top competitor in Jumpers. Lacey has been free jumping with excellent form, she has tight knees and a wonderful bascule and tremendous scope. She is very balanced and drives from behind which gives her beautiful uphill movement and 3 excellent gaits. She will certainly have GP jumping potential and she is a forward willing worker. She has a good work ethic, enjoys her work and is eager to please. At this point in her training all groundwork has been done and she is going really nicely under saddle at walk/trot. She's soft and light in the bridle, leaning to bend around the leg, trotting poles and becoming more confident every day.

Her superior jumping ability is no accident, her sire Graf Top I, was the 2011 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Graf Top's accomplishments as a jumping sire are hard to beat and he has consistently been one of the most popular sires at the Celle National Stud in Germany. More than one in 10 of his progeny are competing in the Advanced Jumping levels with an incredible 28 offspring presently representing the Hanoverian breed in International jumping classes. Futhermore he has produced 10 licensed sons and 28 State Premium mares. One of his sons - Grey Top is also on track to become a Stallion of the Year for the Celle Stud. Graf Top is a son of the famous Graf Grannus, another Stallion of the Year which makes this particular G line a jumping and breeding dynasty for the Hanoverian breed.

As strong as her sire line is, Lacey's Dam line is equally strong. Her dam Samanatha S is an Elite mare who combines the best of the bloodlines from the famous Siverhorne Sporthorse breeding program. Samantha's dam Golden Gate was also an Elite mare and Sporthorse Champion with many wins in both jumping and dressage.

Her sire is the Elite stallion and foundation sire for Silverhorne - Sir Caletto. Sir Caletto was successfully shown by Hap Hansen in Hunters and jumpers but has made more of a name for himself as a tremendously successful breeding stallion. Lacey has been carefully and specifically bred to excel in Jumpers and you will be hard pressed to find a better jumping pedigree than this mare. She is showing all the promise that she has been bred for - including an unintentional jump of 6 feet!
