Notes:

Dashairs Ex ""Lista"" was started in barrel racing futurity training as a 3 year old; however, she did not compete in barrel racing because she was purchased and placed into English training, starting at age 4. I purchased her soon after (in 2016) and have ridden her in dressage, jumping, and some cross country jumping.

Lista enjoys attention and affection and is full of personality. She will tie, crosstie, bridle, bathe, clip, and load in trailers. She does not crib, can be stalled (no vices), and can be turned out in a mixed herd. I have kept her barefoot because her feet are strong and did not require shoes. She has not had any lameness or back soreness.

Lista has natural athletic ability, smooth movement and gaits, a light mouth, and moves off the leg easily. She rarely misses a lead and will do lead changes. She has been ridden on hilly trails and will cross water (she loves it!). During cross country schooling she jumped a small ditch and went up and down beginner novice banks with ease.

She has been shown in four schooling shows, jumping and dressage, and taken on several cross country schooling trips. In her first dressage schooling show she won both of her classes. She handled the show environment, hauling, and overnight stays without incident.

Lista is a very smart and intense horse. She is sensitive to leg and hand aids, so she will need an experienced rider with light hands and correct/consistent leg aids to encourage her to relax into her work. She is not a suitable horse for a novice rider, as she can become ""spicy"" when not ridden correctly (especially if the rider's hands become restrictive). She does swish her tail when tense and gets behind the bit when leg aids are not maintained. When ridden correctly, she is a lovely and graceful mover.

Lista has been turned out to pasture and not ridden since June 2019. I brought a green horse to the barn where I train and I turned her out on a family member's ranch while I working with the other horse. I have decided to keep the other horse and sell her. The decision to sell her has been difficult to make, but I am unable to keep two horses at the barn due to financial reasons. Lista does enjoy being in a training program, and she needs to move along to someone that will get her back in a program. Please note, she is still green and considered a project horse for an experienced rider.
